Raise A Light Project is something I started, to write what God has been putting on my mind, relating mostly to His church. Lately I have been noticing that God has been showing me what is wrong in the church. At first I mostly noticed it in other churches; but now I am noticing it in my church as well. No person is perfect, and neither is any church. -However, we should always strive for His high standard.
However this is not only about what God is showing us about His church; it should also bring insight into the Bible, faith, and yes-His church. There will also be articles on spiritual growth, doctrine and evangelism. -with some verses and quotes mixed in.
If you have something to contribute; feel free to submit something. You could be a one-time or even a regular writer on here. We do not pay however; this project is completely done out of the goodness of our hearts.
So if you do have something to submit please email me at bretagne27(at)gmail(dot)com with "RALP Submission" in the title. Thanks!

Please comment on my posts! Its what keeps me going; why write something if no one will read it?
I just found your blog, and I think I'll stick around for awhile! Looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteThats great! I read your profile and we seem to have a lot in common! Let me know if you want to consider writing on this blog as well! :D
DeleteI know exactly what you mean by starting out with a more intellectual relationship with God, and than FINALLY and then finally getting a heartfelt one! It happened to me a couple of years ago.
DeleteI may get in contact with you about writing. At this exact moment, I'm having a little trouble keeping up with my personal blog, but I certainly appreciate the offer! I've been planning an article for my own blog for a while, and I may submit it over here as well.
DeleteHa, it's nice to meet someone who understands that phrase! I've only met about four people who get it, so that right there is something in common!
Ok, great! Yes, you can always just submit articles you write for your own blog, and then if it sort of goes with this blog's mission I will publish it(I think I can add you as another author for this blog). If you go to the "Submit" tab on this blog it will explain how to submit something to me. Well, you are lucky with your 4 people; I only know 2! ;) It does seem especially rare though for Reformed people to really have a heartfelt relationship with God though. :( Btw, when I go to your profile its just the blogger profile; next time you comment could you comment with your G+ profile so that I can add you? :)
